Please vote in the Annual Christmas Card Contest.

Announcement | Comments (1)Two Older cards

These are two cards that I had made for 2 Sketches 4 You’s design team application. So I thought I would share them with you. There is no stamping on them. The words are Stampin UP! rub ons.

Annual Christmas card voting
Here are the entries. Please e-mail me your choices at sue@stampndaly.com . Please pick one from each category.
Categories are: Cuttlebug, most Unique color, 3-D and Vintage. Run your cursor over each card to find the name of it.
Participants are allowed to put a post on their blog or a craft message board to say "Come Vote" but it MUST NOT SAY VOTE FOR ME.
Thank you to all that participated. They are all beautiful and the voters have a big choice ahead of them.
Stampin' Ideas | Comments (4)Design Team Card
This is the card that I designed for A Scrap Addict’s sketch. To create the Candles, I used Arlene’s Outline Stickers on vellum and then colored the back with Stampin UP! markers.
Today was family day and we went bowling. I fell on the lanes and hurt my knee( which has been hurt before) so I am kind of down and out this evening. Tomorrow I will get the Annual Christmas Card Contest posted and the voting set up.
Stampin' Ideas | Comments (5)A Touch of elegance
This is my entry for Kristina’s Color Challenge for the week. I used Bella Toile and Beatiful Borders from Stampin UP!
I am sorry I have been busy adding pictures to a Family Tree so that I can have them made into books for my family for Christmas.
Please don’t forget about the Annual Christmas Card Contest. All the entries are due in Saturday by midnight EST. So far only 8 people have entered cards so your chances of winning are still good.
Stampin' Ideas | Comments (20)Hiking on Pilot Mountain
Yesterday we went for a hike at Pilot Mountain State Park. It is about an hour ride away from my home. This is the slide show that I made of the pictures I took. I really need to loose weight. We hiked for 3 miles up and down rocks.
Photos, Stampin' Ideas | Comments (14)S for Sue or….
S is for Sue, StampnDaly, super hero or super mom. I made this card by applying gesso over a piece of mulberry paper to adhere it to a glossy card stock and then printed the S from Clip art Ect. and clear embossed. I then colored it in with Stampin Up markers. I then decided that I did not like the color of the flowers so I added the felt flowers with brads. It still needed more and may still need more. I added swirls from the Hodge Podge Hardware kit and finally punched my corners out of birch bark.
I went for a walk today and brought my camera along. I love the pretty colors of the leaves so I had to share one with you. It was a great mail day because I got my prize from Our Creative Corner and a surprise gift from Impression Obession.
Stampin' Ideas | Comments (13)Nature
This is my entry for Kristina’s Color Challenge this week. I used Stampin Up!’s Nature Silhouttes for the image. First I stamped the image in versa-mark and then added a layer of eggplant ink over it with a touch of black marker here and there. I stamped the tree and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I took my brayer and loaded it up with Taken with Teal, Pacific Point and the Pumpkin pie at the other end and brayered. To create some fog I added some white craft ink. Then I stamped the wolf.
To top it off I added some stickles to the grass to make it look a little frosty. The verse and flower tied it all up.
Stampin' Ideas | Comments (17)More Hand stamped Jewelry
This is a charm I made by stamping on polymer clay. I stamped the image with Brown stazon ink and then colored in the eye and lips with sharpie markers. Then I baked it at the manufacturers recommended time and temperature. When it came out I added a coat of crystal effects over the top.
I would say I still need more practice with this.
3D Projects | Comments (4)Time to Vote and Work on Your Annual Christmas card entry
There will be no Tutorial Tuesday today due to voting and the fact that I have children at home today. They are busy playing Guitar Hero and will be having a few friends over today. Here are a few pictures that I took over the weekend. The top picture is two bluebirds in a dead pine tree. The tree is very tall and I had to use my high powered lens to get this picture.
This is also a time for you to work on your Annual Christmas Card Contest entry. I have had several questions that I will answer now because I’m sure others have the same questions.
1. Do the stamps used have to be Stampin Up! stamps? No you may use any rubber stamps that you would like.
2. Where are the current Entries? You will e-mail your entry to me and I will post them in a slide show on Nov. 16th or 17th.
You can e-mail your entries to sue@stampndaly.com
